Once you have selected a new password, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address used to register that character. You will need to open that email and confirm the change.
If you do not see an email from Furcadia, please check your spam folder or settings to ensure you have not accidentally filtered out the mail from us. If you cannot access the email address that your character is registered to, please send us a support ticket. We'll need some details before we can assist you, e.g. the email address that the character was last registered.
As a footnote, if you save your character passwords in the INI files (that are kept in your Furcadia data folder), you will need to adjust the INI file manually and update it with the new password. The file can be opened in any text editor (such as Notepad) and the "Password=" line can be changed to reflect your new password.
